
These Stone Iron Age forts are always a source of fascination with their enormous size and careful stacking of stones to create the outer defensive walls in particular! In this case the young lady, standing, we are told, 5 foot 6 inches tall on the steps of Staigue Fort, Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry.
